The most common request I used to get in my comments was:
Could you share the code, please?
I have even gotten:
pleeeeeeaaaaassee the cooooode
And they have a point.
Before December of 2025, I was putting all my code behind a paywall ( Patreon ). Only Patreon subscribers were able to see and play with the code.
But honestly? I realized that was pretty lame.
As a viewer, when a content creator gatekeeps its code, I always find it kind of annoying.
It’s so much fun to quickly git clone a repository and start running the code of something you’ve just watched.
That’s why I’m open-sourcing all my code.
It’s all available on my GitHub .
All for free.
And I’m not stopping there.
Normally, I would also upload a one-hour-long video explaining the project to Patreon.
I’m also open-sourcing that.
From now on, when I publish a new repo on my GitHub , I will also post a low-edited video of the project and how everything works on my second channel .
This way, everyone benefits as much as possible.
Everyone, except me. I don’t know if there are any business analysts reading this, but this seems like the most brain-dead business move I could make.
IT PROBABLY IS.
But instead of gatekeeping my code, I’m hoping that by providing so much value for free, you consider supporting my work (see below). For example, you can sign up for Patreon or grab one of my cool posters .
This way, everyone gets the code for free, you get some cool merch or patreon benefits, and I can continue to do this for a living.

Cool stuff you can buy
Because people who support me are super cool, I also want them to get cool things in return.
Here are some of the way you can help me keep doing this for a living, while also getting something cool in return.
- Grab one of my cool posters at store.greencode.codes
- Sign up for Patreon
- Subscribe to my newsletter
Let me explain…
1. Cool Posters
For some of my videos, I create cool posters that you can hang up in your room/house. The idea is to make posters that can be a stand-alone piece.
I want to create posters that when someone visits your house they go:
“Uhhhh, that’s cool! What is it?”
That’s what I’m going for here.
An image is worth a thousand words. If you’re curious, feel free to check it out yourself .
If posters aren’t your thing, don’t worry I have some other stuff that might interest you .
2. Patreon
Since I’m no longer putting my code behind the paywall of Patreon, the benefits are changing a little bit.
Patreons still get all the code and the walk-through videos (since I’m open-sourcing them), but I’m adding some special benefits.
- All Patreons will be listed at the end of my videos
- Monthly exclusive Q&A for the Patreons
- Exclusive Discounts for the merch store
Check out the different tiers for the specifics :)

3. Newsletter
I’m building GradientWeekly.com .
My goal is to launch it the summer of 2026. It’s not finished yet, but it would be cool if you subscribed .

Thank you!
That’s pretty much it. If you’ve made it all the way here, you’re awesome.
If you don’t have the means to support my work, THAT’S OKAY.
Watching is more than enough anyways :)
Love,
Green Code 💚
